CMII-05 DE
CMII-04: Operation, Maintenance and Logistics
All facets of operation and maintenance (O&M) have been consolidated into this retitled course. It provides an in-depth review of the O&M phase of the product lifecycle and includes provisions for decommissioning.
The first section describes the basics of O&M and how the documentation differs from other lifecycle phases. The second section describes the basics of logistics. It describes how barcodes are used in the supply chain, how to manage modifications, and the basics of overhaul, repair and recertification. The third section describes how the O&M change process and forms differ from other phases. It describes why O&M needs its own Change Specialist II function to manage the implementation of approved changes. The fourth section describes the design reconstitution effort that may be required in order to extend the useful life of an existing facility. It also describes how decommissioning is used to remove products from service.
